submerged

Not two hours from stepping off the bus from the airport at Clark, I find myself submerged in a spin cycle of ideas, concerns and updates. Punching the keys on my beloved travel companion from the big development bank in Ortigas, I find myself digesting recent political events, the aftermath of the most recent storm to hit, updates from my teammates, new freelance assignments, news from friends' colorful lives, and a germ of an idea (uh oh) which I plan to put down on paper soon.

I also want to arrange all of the photographs I've accumulated over the past week and a half, cross reference them with scribbles and observations, and profiles of the interesting people I've met over my mini travel-escape.

With eyes half-closed, and mind abuzz with ideas, memories and things-that-need-to-be-attended-to, my keys click and clack, resizing thoughts, writing photos, and taking psychic notes, hoping they don't float away before I can grab them in mid-air and peek at them while they glow from the center of my nearly-closed fist.

Hehe. Sitting in front of my computer now and imagining exactly where I was one week ago, gives me this tingly, surreal feeling. Gad, we gotta travel together, Herb!
